Noble Construction Management wants everyone to be able to use buildwithnoble.com, including people who browse with a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, or rely on magnification, captions, or other assistive technology.

This statement is an honest account of where the site stands. It names the problems we know about rather than claiming the site is finished.

Standard We Are Working To

We are working toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These guidelines are the common benchmark for making web content usable by people with disabilities.

This site is currently partially conformant. Partially conformant means some parts of the site do not yet fully meet the standard. The specific gaps we know about are listed below.

What Is In Place

• The site works on phones, tablets, and desktops, and reflows when text is enlarged or the window is narrowed.
• Pages declare their language so screen readers pronounce content correctly.
• Text is set at a readable size with contrast against its background.
• Our project pages use structured headings, descriptive alternative text on photography, keyboard-operable image viewers, and honor the reduced-motion setting for people who find animation uncomfortable.
• Video on the site does not autoplay and is controlled by the visitor.

Known Limitations

We audited the site on September 2, 2026 and found the following. We are working through them.

• Missing alternative text on images. Many photographs and graphics on our older pages, including the About and Services pages, do not yet have text descriptions. Someone using a screen reader will not know what those images show. This is our highest priority.
• Heading structure. Our Services page has no main heading, and some pages have two. Screen reader users rely on headings to move around a page, so this makes those pages harder to navigate.
• Skip-to-content link. Several pages do not offer a link that lets keyboard users jump past the navigation to the main content, so reaching the content takes extra keystrokes.
• Sticky header overlap. On some screen sizes the navigation bar can pass over page content while scrolling, which can briefly obscure text.
• Video captions. Our project walkthrough video does not yet have captions or a transcript.

Ongoing Work

Accessibility is part of how we maintain this site, not a one-time project. As we rebuild and add pages, we write descriptive alternative text, use proper heading order, keep interactive elements reachable by keyboard, and check contrast. Older pages are being corrected as we revisit them.

Compatibility

The site is built to work with current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, used together with the assistive technology available on your device. It may not work reliably on browsers more than a few versions out of date.
